Description
Few leagues in the United States can boast of a richer tradition or more illustrious past than the east coasts Cosmopolitan Soccer League. The New York Cosmos were spawned there, and some of the world’s top clubs were regular visitors during the "golden years" of the amateur game in the 50s and 60s. Now surpassing over 90 years of existence, the league, formerly the German American Football Association, has carved out a distinct niche for itself on the American Soccer landscape. There are 106 clubs in the CSL’s 9 divisions today across the New York metropolitan area. The CSL continues to provide the highest level of amateur soccer in the area and with our work with the NY Red Bulls.
