Football is officially recognised as the national sport in the Solomon Islands. With numerous competitions running year-round, the Solomon Islands Football Federation (SIFF) has a busy time ensuring the game continues to grow and develop. The Cook Islands Football Association was founded in 1991 and affiliated with FIFA in 1994, with the vision to promote and develop the sport in the Cook Islands, it became a member of FIFA in June, 1994. Canada Soccer is the official governing body for soccer in Canada. In partnership with its members, Canada Soccer promotes the growth and development of soccer in Canada, from grassroots to high performance, and on a national scale. The Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) is the smallest of the world's six continental confederations, responsible for developing and organizing football across the South Pacific. Formed in 1966 by founding members Australia, Fiji, New Zealand, and Papua New Guinea, OFC gained full FIFA confederation status in 1996 and is headquartered in Auckland, New Zealand. It now comprises 11 full member associations and two associate members, organizing the OFC Nations Cup and OFC Champions League alongside World Cup qualifiers, while its General Secretariat supports coach, referee, and administrator development from grassroots to elite level.

Concacaf is the governing body for football across North America, Central America, and the Caribbean, comprising 41 member associations. It organizes national-team competitions such as the Gold Cup, Nations League, and World Cup qualifiers, as well as club tournaments including the Concacaf Champions Cup and Caribbean Cup, alongside women's and youth championships.

The Unión Centroamericana de Fútbol (UNCAF), or Central American Football Union, was formed in 1990 and represents seven national football associations — Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Panama — all of which are also members of CONCACAF. From 1991 to 2017, UNCAF organized the Copa Centroamericana as its premier national-team tournament (originally the UNCAF Nations Cup), also serving as a CONCACAF Gold Cup qualifier; Costa Rica won the competition eight times, the most of any nation.

The Korea Football Association (KFA) is the governing body of football in South Korea, tracing its roots to the Chosun Football Association founded in 1928 and officially re-established as the KFA in 1948 alongside the founding of the Republic of Korea. It joined FIFA the same year and became a member of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) in 1954. The KFA oversees the men's and women's national teams and organized the country's first professional league in 1983, which grew into today's K League — South Korea's top professional football competition.
