Description
The Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) is the smallest of the world's six continental confederations, responsible for developing and organizing football across the South Pacific. Formed in 1966 by founding members Australia, Fiji, New Zealand, and Papua New Guinea, OFC gained full FIFA confederation status in 1996 and is headquartered in Auckland, New Zealand. It now comprises 11 full member associations and two associate members, organizing the OFC Nations Cup and OFC Champions League alongside World Cup qualifiers, while its General Secretariat supports coach, referee, and administrator development from grassroots to elite level.
