Our mission is to realize the nation’s football potential and our goal are to offer world class footballers and match officials and providing maximum media exposure, to unlock talent and to improve well-being.

The association Fédération Tahitienne de Football (FTF) was founded on May 26, 1989 and published in the Official Journal of French Polynesia on July 27, 1989 by transformation of the “Football League of French Polynesia” founded on November 15, 1969 and published in the Official Journal of French Polynesia on December 15, 1970. FTTF has been affiliated with the International Football Association (FIFA) since 7 June 1990. The official language of the FTF is French.

Football is officially recognised as the national sport in the Solomon Islands. With numerous competitions running year-round, the Solomon Islands Football Federation (SIFF) has a busy time ensuring the game continues to grow and develop. SIFF was founded in 1978 and became a full FIFA member in 1988 largely thanks to the late Alan Boso who saw the potential of Solomon Islands football. Since then the association has grown from strength to strength.

Football Federation Samoa (FFS) was founded in 1968. The federation has been through a challenging period in recent years with FIFA setting up a normalisation committee in 2008. A spell of inactivity followed for the next two years as the sport was rebuilt in Samoa but the normalisation period ended at the beginning of 2011. Papali’i Samuel L Petaia is the current President.

The Caledonian Football Federation brings together all the Football Clubs of New Caledonia, which organizes the federal and national competitions on the territory of Caledon. FCF has been affiliated with FIFA since the Congress held in Paris in May 2004, becoming a member of the Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) in July 2004. Formerly the Football League of New Caledonia and fully affiliated to the French Football Federation (FFF) since March 1928 - the date of the creation of the Caledonian League - the governing body of Caledonian Football has therefore totally changed its status in 2004, opening internationally by becoming a Federation in its own right, despite a strong and close collaboration still maintained with the FFF.

Fiji Football Association is the official governing body of the sport of football in Fiji. It is affiliated with the Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) and Federation International de Football Association (FIFA). Fiji FA was founded in 1938 and became a member of FIFA in 1963. Fiji was among the founding members of OFC along with Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea. The nation of around 800,000 has traditionally been one of Oceania best performers – second only to New Zealand in the FIFA rankings for men. The Fiji Football Association (FFA) nurtures hopes of one day toppling the giants in Oceania and qualifying for a FIFA finals competition.

The Cook Islands Football Association was founded in 1991 and affiliated with FIFA in 1994, with the vision to promote and develop the sport in the Cook Islands, it became a member of FIFA in June, 1994. CIFA registered 13 full members – 6 Rarotonga Football Clubs (Avatiu Football Club, Matavera-Ngatangiia Football Club, Nikao Sokattak Football Club, Puaikura Football Club, Titikaveka Football Club, Tupapa Maraerenga Football Club), 7 Island associations Aitutaki Football Association, Atiu Football Association, Mangaia Football Association, Mauke Football Association, Mitiaro Football Association, Pukapuka Football Association and Rakahanga Football Association and 3 associate members, Manihiki, Nassau and Penrhyn.

A territory with just 70,000 people and an area of 199km², American Samoa is traditionally strong in sports such as gridiron, basketball and baseball but football is starting to take over these popular pastimes. The strength of the game is at the youth level where Football Federation American Samoa (FFAS) has worked hard to establish competitions within schools.

The Oceania Football Confederation is the smallest of the world’s six Confederations, and is responsible for the development and organisation of football across the South Pacific. OFC is currently made up of 11 Member Associations and two Associate Members, which it supports through a variety of means including financially and pedagogically. As well as organising regional qualifiers for all FIFA World Cup tournaments, the General Secretariat provides educational expertise to help guide the development of football across all levels from grassroots to elite, while also catering for a range of different roles from coaches and referees to sports administrators.
